Medyc is a healthcare operator. We run the care journey end to end, from the first video consultation to the medication at the door, and we finance it so that patients, employers and families abroad can pay predictably.
Where we come from
Medyc started in Djibouti, where seeing a doctor meant a waiting room, a trip across town and a pharmacy that might not have the medication. The first version was a teleconsultation service. Today the platform coordinates doctors, nurses, pharmacies and laboratories in Djibouti and Ethiopia, and follows chronic conditions such as diabetes over time.
The company is led by its founder, Moubarik Mahamoud, and operates through three entities: Medyc System Inc. in the United States, Medyc System S.A.S in Djibouti and Medyc System PLC in Ethiopia.
