Cookie policy
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. The site also uses your browser’s local storage to remember your preferences. Here is what we use, and why.
Updated
1. Site preferences
Stored in your browser, they never leave your device:
- medyc-language and medyc-language-manual: the language you chose;
- medyc_country_hint_dismissed: the country suggestion you closed.
2. Audience measurement
Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) tells us which pages are viewed and which useful actions happen (call, WhatsApp, request sent), to improve the site. Cookies: _ga and _ga_<id>, kept for up to 2 years. No health data is sent.
3. Chat
The Intercom chat bubble (Intercom, Inc.) uses cookies (intercom-id, intercom-session, intercom-device-id) to keep your conversation, kept for up to 9 months.
4. Refuse or delete
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out add-on. The site still works; the chat may then no longer find your previous messages.
5. Contact
Questions about cookies or your data: hello@medyc.io. See also the privacy policy.
